Damn good job at beating Cut Man! Especially with avoiding the Big Eye because that one's a pain in the ass. Aaaand after writing all that stuff about recording, I don't actually know what to write anymore. You only lost one life, that's pretty impressive if you haven't played the game for a long time.
Edit: I just tried Cut Man again, again only with the Mega Buster, and actually got through the stage and beat him without dying even once. Holy shit, this game is fun! xD

virtualnes.com. Works just fine. About halfway in, you see me jump into an octopus battery. Controls were EVIL.
It was my third run. First run, I lost two lives to the copters when they storm you at the beginning and lost the last life nowhere of notice. Second run, of which I think you can see the GO screen at the very start of the video, I made it to cutman with one bar left. I think you can imagine what happened. The rest you saw. But before that, never played. And thanks for the tips. As-is, camstudio is a fairly big CPU sink, but I might be my PoS netbook.
