I loved this game. It was short, but it was sad. Totally a game I'll replay when I have nothing else to do.
The last level was the hardest, but it was the most interesting.

Ouch.  Yeah--I played that one too.  I appreciate emotional games that use that mechanic to involve players directly in the emotional weight.  It was pretty good, considering it's a short flash game.

I too, have enjoyed this game.

I've always wanted to see a large studio develop a game which focuses on those sort of mechanics.

I know it's unrealistic, but I can't help but imagine little bearded babies for dwarves. In my mind, they come out of the womb fully bearded. That's how the mother carries them around, too, she just drags them around by the beard or ties it to her belt. When the father's on duty, he just ties their beards together and the baby just kind of hangs there, swinging to and fro with Urist McDaddy's movements.

Fun stuff, kinda reminds me of that one flash game with the time-traveling robot (which, I might add, was a friggin' bastard of a game).  I must admit though, I beat the last level by essentially just spamming a vast amount of shadows and having them all hopping about on one another in a massive chaotic storm which only allowed me (and two random shadows who stood about looking useless afterwards) to get across through sheer chance.  I couldn't work out the timing any other way, and I couldn't think of how else you would do it.

The story aspect was also nice.  For me it fell somewhat short of spectacular, but it was still quite touching.

I also found the shadow-tower solution to one of the puzzles to be quite amusing.  Took ages before I managed to get one that wouldn't fall off my hat.

What was that 3d game where you played some sort of donkey who could leap on his former selves?
