Sensory nerve damage?
« on: August 02, 2010, 02:32:20 pm »

My character got sensory nerve damage in his foot. What does it do? I checked out wikia, but it only said that the effect of sensory nerve damage is unknown.

I assume that  nerve damage could make my character fall a lot, since his right foot is numb. Can anyone confirm this?

Maybe he stops "giving in to pain" if a hammer lord wallops him on the foot in a comical fashion. Granted, in dwarven comedy, the next thing would be to jam his own tooth into his eye and twist it. Then steal his hammer and shatter his pancreas with it.

... Yes, the hugs are for everyone.  No stabbing, though.  Just hugs.

yes, no sensory nerves now equal no pain, so if you get heavy bleeding in the foor now you wont give in to pain and keep on walkin on it... untill you get a motor nerve severed...

I don't know what effects it has if it's on the foot, but sensory nerve damage gives combat penalties, at least when in the hands/arms, and possibly when elsewhere. I don't remember what the nature of the penalty is, I just remember toady saying that it existed at some point.

Why does my adventurer keep crying?
Greiger's is actually correct...  sadly enough.  The emotional circumstance processor is still turned on, with a randomly rolled up personality, but they can't express themselves or take control...  they can only cry.

Sensory nerve damage causes numbness on the body part, this causes no pain but as a side effect your attacks are weaker.

Oh god I want all my adventurer's sensory nerves severed! I died so many times because I passed out after I've got a single arrow in my finger.
