Hmmmm...I think my computer just hates this version because it crashes before the movie even starts or the menu opens or whatever.  (idk what the opening sequence will be for one this old)

That's what cages and minecart shotguns are for!  We don't need to control them.  We just need to aim them.

I'm running 64-bit Vista too, and I have no problems playing it except for abysmal FPS.

Okay, attempt #2! Let's get this show on the road!

Hmmmm...any tips on what I should do to get it working?  The raws were not text files for some reason...and a text copy of them would generate in the data folder when I run the game try to run the game.

I have no idea... is there a crash message?

Also, is there some secondary FPS cap I missed or something? The game is running at 60 FPS all the time, with zero variation. Any way I can get this to run faster than a crawl? I've been playing for an hour and I'm only in mid-spring.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to back out. I have a lot of work and so forth I have to do, and this version runs too damn slow for me to get anything done... Sorry! I can post the save if you want, but I didn't even get to the migrant wave.
