Does this sound like a fun embark site?
« on: August 02, 2010, 08:31:08 am »

I'm looking for somehwere that would be fun to embark at, and I found a place with 4 rivers that meet at a same spot.

One of the biomes has no trees or other kind of plants, and the other one is a thick forest.

Does this sound interesting, or is it something common?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

I looked farther through the map, and found another place where four rivers meet. It doesn't look as interesting though.

I checked legends and the only things that have died so far are a few humans, dwarves, elves, and a goblin.

The size of your embark will probrally give you fps fun unless you have a sentient super computer that menaces with (several) spikes of 10,000 GB ram.

I was planning to go 4x5 instead, so I can get that extra row of trees.

Save added to 1st post.

It seems I accidently set end year to 2. Silly me.

sites with sweet rivers and waterfalls arew always tempting but ultimately I'd rather spend that fps on a bigger fortress with more dwarves.
