Tutorial for adventure-mode?

I am currently learning fortress-mode, but I am trying to figure out adventure-mode to. Is there some sort of guide for adventure-mode somewhere?

The wiki is your friend! :-)

A lot of that guide there pertains to starting a "Play Now" adventurer. There are also links at the top to the adventurer controls (or you can just check them in-game through the menu).
