Just out of curiosity, what is the largest number of migrants you have received at once?

For me, I received 30 migrants in the first wave.

If I could get around 3-4 per wave max, I'd be happy.

I'd be happy if the ones with adopted animals didn't show up. Nothing's worse than immigrants bringing in pregnant cows and horses which jam up the hallways with their droppings... er, offspring, rather.

Largest wave was in Bustnut after losing something like 2\3 of the population of a 120+ dwarf fortress to HFS. I didn't count accurately as some more people finished dying in the process of getting immigrants, but it was probably in the 30-60 range.

I've only had one migrant wave of less than 20 dwarves.

Often I've gotten 25+ dwarves several times in a row.

Yeah, I often get huge migrant waves, often because I tend to put all my spare dwarves into creating trade goods or absurdly valuable prepared meals with huge value just because I can.  I think the most I ever got was 42 at once, which my third year's spring back in 40d.
