The White Chamber- A terror-themed graphic adventure
« on: July 19, 2010, 05:43:11 pm »

The game starts with your character waking up inside a coffin in a dark room. On the wall, she reads, written in blood "Do you know where you are?"....

I played this a while ago.  It's a pretty neat game with multiple endings based on... I forget what, including a joke ending if you get the max score in whatever it was that determined the ending.  It's got anime style graphics but it's pretty gory.

There's also a prequel of sorts in the form of these audio recordings from some soldier or something.  They're pretty well done.

Played it a few months back, pretty good all in all. I have an idea that the story is influenced by another game in particular, it is a potential spoiler though:

I can't be the only one who was reminded of Space Station 13 as I played this.
Waking up in a welded Coffin.
All the valuable tools stolen.
Doors welded everywhere.

SPACE..?

Not particularily, IMO. The element they have in common is common enough in itself.

NWN's Witch's Wake was far more P:T reminiscent, IMO. Too bad it was never finished.

I played this just a few days ago. I got halfway through it, then got bored. Heard it's a short game, maybe I'll finish it later :P

They have not just the same starting point, story-wise, but similar arcs and resolutions.
