Permanent Keybinds?
« on: July 05, 2010, 01:07:48 pm »

Hi! Im fairly new here.  :)
I play DF on a laptop, so have to change the keybinds for 'Move secondary selector up/down' every time I play. (Because the set keys make use of a num pad)

Is there any way to permanently change the keys so I dont have to do this again?

There should be an option to save your keybinds on the keybinding menu.

If you have the legacy version (which I'll assume you do since the SDL version has a much more obvious save option at the bottom of the menu), somewhere on the keybinding menu it'll say s - Export to txt, in the top right. When you're on this screen, push the (s) button and it'll save it. The SDL version has a more obvious "save and exit" option at the bottom.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
