Steam tech help.

Alright, so I went to control panel, and and remove programs, removed steam, tried to reinstall it and now it's telling me Error 1500:Another installation of steam is already running. I deleteded msiexec.exe that was running under Travis and not SYSTEM, but it's still telling me it. Do I need to delete the msiexec that's running under SYSTEM as well?

Did you restart after uninstalling?

No. I never really did do that, it just seemed a unnecessary action. Now I know. I ended up just waiting a bit and it are works now.
