I've taken a look at 3 freshly generated medium regions, 2 are normal 15-20mb size; the middle one has a whopping 40mb

I almost guarantee you that third one just has an extra 20MB of megabeasts.

I only have 1.43 gb of space for my DF Folder. I have at least 10 versions of DF in there, all with different changes to the raws and such.
