a day in the life of a dorf
« on: June 21, 2010, 09:52:35 am »

so.. how often does it happen that your sieged? yeah.. every so often.. ok..

two sieges at once- beyond this point i dont really know..

three? thats gotta be too much...

three with a damned troll raiding party too?

i have enough sense to figure three sieges at once with a troll party is too much, all goblins mounted

and why do the trolls have job specifics
troll weaver? troll engraver?

lucky me though i never go outside of mu humble hole in the ground and the entrance is walled off

so when are they gonna go away?

Usually, when it finally sinks in that they can't get in, they'll just walk off the map. It may take months, but as I also subscribe to the containment method, I've seen a handful of siegers just up and leave.

As far as the troll skill levels, no clue. I know civilian gobbos have skills [you can see all sorts of them starting near a goblin fort], but trolls with civ skills are new to me.

Just because that tamed alligator killed someone earlier doesn't mean it wouldn't make a great pet now.

Maybe they will make a siege camp next to your front door and just wait till you die or come out.

That last gobbo would stand there, missing an arm, punctured in a kidney, liver, and spleen, fading in and out of consciousness at the far end of where the drawbridge would go, and his last sight would be the drawbridge dropping down and smashing him like a bug.

God DAMN I love this game!

By three sieges, do you mean three squads, or you got "a vile force of darkness has arrived!" three times?
