this fan made movie cost $27000 and is creating a lot of buzz. Great especially if you like the source material better than the movies.

Gave it a watch. The guy as Batman was outstanding, but I was pretty unimpressed with the actor playing the Joker. I didn't really get a sense of menace from his 'grand plot' either, nor did I find him intimidating in the least. Some of the supporting cast was spotty as well. But the story behind the plot was terrific with the kid and his parents. The filmmaking quality was fairly high as well. Good stuff.

i would say that it ranks a bit higher than a Uwe Boll film.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are A LOT better than the source material. I mean, Robin? Batgirl? WTF?

They really aren't. There are hundreds of Batman comics that far outshine any of the films.

Considering that Batman always ends up on lists of the greatest graphic novels, I'd say that he's probably the best written super hero.
