I have yet to see caravans arrive with wagons. Are they in the 2010 version at all, besides the one you start with?

Currently, they are bugged and won't work.

For now (atleast before 0.31.06), mules, horses, oxen, organic wagons, and particle compressing donkeys will carry the equivalent of a wagon (or more)

Never seen one on 31.06 either. Always two pack animals. With barely enough goods to buy twenty of my stone mug bins.

Apparently it's something to do with the beasts of burden used to pull them. Something about only muskoxen having the right tag to do the job, and only elves have the right tag to have them as pets.
Basically, theres a tag thats something like [WAGON_PULLER] that you need to add to horses, donkeys, mules etc. for wagons to come a'rolling again.
Or at least thats what I hear.

I think it must go deeper than that. If it would be a simple thing like that to copy-pasta into the raws, it would have been done already. But I miss the wagons... They were so easy to steal from. Now I actually have to attack the merchants, which they don't like.

Hopefully the dwarves can learn to breed wagons that don't rely on the pack animal symbiosis
