Anyone been able to get this working?

When I try I get the following error:

GPU unable to accomodate texture catalog. Retry without graphical tiles, update your drivers, or better yet update your GPU.

Now I know it's not my GPU/drivers because this is a $5000 Alienware PC I just bought all of six months ago. It eats this game for breakfast.

Any help?

31.04 doesn't have working full graphics; you have to set Graphics:No.

This will be addressed in 31.05.

Hurgh, I can't play this without graphics, especially not after having done so for so long.

You can still use the tiles.  All you'd be missing is the creature graphics. 

I suppose all I really care about in a tileset is the terrain, though.

For Linux users there is a patch that gets it working, although many of us are having military crashes that make this version almost unplayable.

Unfortunately some of the terrain seems to get rendered badly/incorrectly - andesite walls and floors seem indistinguishable to me - and I'm not sure if this is DF breaking something or a new Phoebus tileset sucking as much as the new font  >:(

Wait, I think I know how to fix this...

When I first started I realized that if it isn't in a text file called "graphics_example.txt" it no longer works.

Edit your graphics_example.txt to contain everything that your graphics set is trying to do.

This might help you guys figure out how to make yours work.
