X-Wing Alliance: Skirmish Mode Challenges
-Take on a Top Ace Star Destroyer with a TIE Fighter.
-Take on a full squadron (24 ships I think) of Top Ace X-Wings with a TIE Fighter.
-Successfully gun-kill an X-Wing Top Ace with a Y-Wing.
-Bonus: Same thing, but against a TIE Defender
-Added Bonus: Make that a squadron of them
-Godlike Pilot Award: Do this challenge with a TIE Fighter (See Above)
(Above challenges, only you are in your squadron, no help)

XWA: Mission Challenges
-Beat the final mission without destroying anything but the primary target. (I hope you're a really good pilot here.)
-Bonus points if you can do that and escape with your life after taking down the core with only lasers.
-Godlike Flying Skill: Do this upside-down or sideways.
-Get top score in the last mission in the Pilot Proving Grounds, upside-down (exception being picking up R2D2).

Dwarf Fortress-
A dwarf. A pickaxe. A plump helmet spawn. And a dream.

Splinter Cell Conviction:

Play through the entire story-mode without firing your weapon (except during particular cut scenes, and in the Iraq mission WHICH IS OMGWTFBBQ).

I would call it the pacifist path, except you break everybody's neck.

SWAT 4:

Play through the entire game only using flashbangs, cs-gas, and harsh language. (And fistcuffs if you're playing the expansion)

The thing is, lasers are earth-based weaponry.  No alien technology is used in their construction.  This means craft laser cannons (for what that's worth) and laser defense modules in your base.  Unless you mean no research at all (aside from Avenger necessities), in which case it should be specified as such.
The point was that your weapons are supposed to be trapped in a state of perpetual uselessness.

As to TES IV: I once played as an Archaeologist Adventurer. He wore only cloth armour and always fought with his fists.

It's all about dodging.

Y'know, I was thinking about that...  Wandering around the countryside and seeking out those Ayleid ruins would've actually been a ton of fun, if the damn places had actually been at all interesting, or if they happened to include loot that was even halfway useful/valuable.

I briefly considered making it a quest to delve the depths of all those spots, but then I realized that after the first two I'd already seen every last one of them.  And there's nothing you can really do with all those pointless crystals you pick up.

You know what?  Someone should make a game that centers solely around exploring ruins like that and coming back with really cool artifacts that you can put on pedestals or whatnot...

I agree, that would be pretty sweet.

I should addendum that I played my Archaeologist with a mod that features a large adventure where you explore ancient underground ruins.

And I did cheat a bit by using ancient artifact weapons during boss battles, but it seemed appropriate.

I did fight six heavily armoured vampires armed with greatswords with my bare hands, though.

Silent Hunter III + grey wolves on full realism and doing all the targeting calculations yourself, properly. Some would say this is the only way to play the game. For added realism, don't shower or shave for a month before starting the game.

If you ask me, the ayleid ruins have the most interesting and varied level design in Oblivion, at least the ones I visited. The Planes of Oblivion on the other hand, now those are boring, repetitive and pointless. I soured on the whole game after closing 5-6 gates.

Check out the Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul mod.  Ruins aren't so safe anymore.  (Also there's hand placed artifacts in some)

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

FF7 crisis core: beat the game on hard mode without leveling up (wear curse ring). Really fucking hard up to a certain point, but it gets a lot easier once you get certain mission items.
