Actually herbal brew sounds interesting. Dwarven absynth anyone?  ;)

Absinthe. I want to gouge out your eyes with a slotted spoon and drip ice water over them into a reservoir glass.

I don't think Dwarves hold on to any sort of ethnic or political baggage when it comes to them having the chance to drink great booze.

It is a common misconception that elves drink sunshine. In fact, they use it as varnish on their pathetic wooden weapons.
Dwarves, however, drink the stuff. Because they're MACHO.

Sunshine is made by taking the berry of the Sunberry plant and MASHING IT BETWEEN YOUR BICEPS UNTIL ALL THE JUICE COMES OUT, then soaking it in alcohol FOR 40 YEARS. then a dash of PURE MANLINESS is added, and then you allow it to soak up NUCLEAR ENERGY from the sun before fermenting it in a vat of GOD'S BLOOD. Wala, Sunshine.

I have to go along with the absinthe.  And you can mix it with mountain dew for a quick pick me up!

After about three glasses, I could no longer get through a working day.

Personally, I like to imagine sunshine as actually glowing. Golden radiance coming up out of the mug, light visible through the dwarf's throat as they swallow, brilliant droplets left on their beards until they evaporate with an evil hiss...

There is nothing pansy about luminous liquor, my friends.

Mountain Dew as opposed to what? Lukewarm piss with a twist of lemon?

Maybe Sunshine is not a beer like we think, but a type of wine. In a way, Sunberries are the DF equivalent of grape.

Although that's the serious answer.

Especially if it's flourescing due to exposure to deadly radiation. Fortified with radium!
