how many steps are in a season or year? hopefully simple question

Reportedly, there are 1200 steps in a day. Multiply that by 28 days per month and by 3 months per season and you get 100800 steps per season (and times 4 seasons per year to get 403200 steps per year).
I seem to recall seeing something about the last day of the season being shorter, but I don't remember where...
