Is this the one where the Scottish guy gets hairier as he levels up, and that little brat turns into a self-immolation suicide at Level 4?

I've seen some banner ads.

So what's good about the game?

You should all be ashamed of yourselves.  The obvious solution is to chain the baby up at the entrance as a kobold detector.

Yup, nothing. I've found nothing good from this so far.
Although, I haven't played it, I don't need to. It's apparent it's awful.

Well no, maybe it's actually really good and the ads are just horrible.

Ohh, nonsense, I'm not basing my opinions on ads alone, either the ads are lying through their teeth, or are as bad as this.
Heh.

Actually, I always thought the banner ads were pretty damn cool looking.  I liked the art.  The Scotsman guy who starts out holding a daisy was cool, and the old Harry Potter ripoff who turns into a flaming phoenix is compelling at least.

And what can I say, the ads were effective, after seeing them for about uh two years I eventually clicked through and poked around.  ...Gameplay didn't seem compelling, but if I was oh, six, ten years younger, I'd probably have jumped all over it.  I don't see anything wrong with the game itself, for what it is.
