I was stopped by the title screen?
« on: May 16, 2010, 09:21:26 am »

After deciding that zombies can't be caged, I gave up my 40d fortress (the evil one anyway, still have other stuff to do on the on the other one.) So, I download the mayday version, scrap the graphics for Deon's mod, run the game, and can't even  move to select Generate world. Any ideas?

Can you be more specific? Which mod did you grab?

I am especially confused about "scrap the graphics for Deon's mod". What do you mean? I already have a mayday version which should be installed on top of VANILLA game.

Right. I got rid of Mayday's graphics for yours (which look nice bye the way), and applied it to mayday's game. Probably should've put it in the vanilla game. I do that and see what works.

Explain the steps you used when you "applied it to mayday's game". What did you apply where?

Just say which files did you copy and where to.

Here's my process: I took the art and init files from the data, and overwrote the ones that were in there. Then, I took the raw out and swapped it with your raw. I did that like this because the first time I just swapped them out, the index was gone. I repeated this process to vanilla, and it's still the same problem.
