Engraved, Constructed Walls
« on: May 13, 2010, 06:31:16 pm »

So I'm currently playing a game for experimental construction, where goblins died out during world gen and dwarves have
[NOEAT][NOSLEEP][SPEED:1], etc, and max attributes.

I constructed a wall over a ramp, and then I found out that the wall had an engraving on it. I had just dug out some engraved walls the floor below (but not directly below) but I'm not sure that had anything to do with it. Any ideas?

I recall that if you put a wall over a floor engraving, it will show up as an engraved wall. But when you 'k' over the wall and read the description, it will clarify that the floor has the engraving.

I'm not sure if this is the same phenomenon. Or if I'm even correct.

Nope, the floor was never engraved and the engraving describes the wall.
