hell a wooden door will stop a magma flow.

Okay. This is the account of how it went down.

17 Timber 1051. The caravan had arrived not too long ago. The trap chamber was finally ready, and the miner was carving the ramp up to the surface, ready to run. Having made peace with the gods and her fellow dwarves, she was ready for the worst.

Finally the ramp was dug. She stood confused for a moment. Silence only. She cautiously climbed out to look around and found an enormous green beast lying dead in the glade!

I thought about it, but the knowledge gained from this venture allows me to continue on. Also, I found that the dragon had stolen a large horn silver with an image of herself on it. Something about that charms me.
Plus, if I go community with this, it'll add a nice bit of conflict instead of "one day 7 dwarfs went to catch a dragon and they caught the dragon and the end."

Actually, I think a wooden door would burn. A wooden wall would be fine though.
