Currently, Elves bring nuclear Warthogs which are bugged with ridiculous carrying power.
It's not a bug.
Humans discovered what Pitchblende does. Then they sold the technology to Elves.
Just a feature.

If you're playing in 31.03, high-quality trap components are now ridiculously valuable. Make a few masterwork steel giant axe blades with a High Master immigrant Weaponsmith. Either exceptional or masterwork trap components are worth around 15000 dwarfbux (!), I believe.

The funniest part being a dwarf actually butchered the stupid thing.  Necrotic poison is the tastiest of spices.

A single good roast is worth that. If you have a decent, steel equipped military, you just roam the underground, killing things and selling the food off their bodies.
