I recently embarked on a evil tropical savage shrubland.
It is just about as smart as starting a fortress In the middle of a lake of carp (And it almost ended up like that anyhow.) I died at a quarter of my own lowest failure population.
If anyone survives the zombie giant jaguars, elephants, and hippos all the way to the point they hit 200 men, OR break into hell. Post it here.

Sounds fun, and not just in the dying way.  I've noticed some evil forests have glumprong trees that are wonderfully purple.  Did yours have any of those?

About as Fun as an evil tundra with an aquifer? Oh god the werewolves.

I'd say the ultimate challenge, unless you didn't intend to embark on such a difficult map, then it's your own stupidity.

I have no idea where anything is. I have no idea what anything does. This is not merely a madhouse designed by a madman, but a madhouse designed by many madmen, each with an intense hatred for the previous madman's unique flavour of madness.

Lol. Aquifers tend to be a 5 minute fix........ When using the find desired location button i tend to not even say NO in the aquifer button.

Shrublands do not have many trees, And there were only 2-3 evil trees I saw.

Good challenge Id say.... The ware-wolfs, But they do appear in evil shrub lands D =. Glaciers are worse though, You need mud in order to have a self sustaining fortress.... Booze and wood shortages kill you if you don't colonize a cavern quick enough.
