Have moods changed?
« on: May 05, 2010, 09:29:13 pm »

I'm just getting started with the new version. Love it so far. But recently, a new immigrant has been taken by a fey mood. His highest skill is animal dissection, which, if I remember correctly, means he should take over the nearest craftsdwarf's shop. I've got one all ready for him, but he's just standing around outside. Staring. Any way I can prevent him from going berserk?

Dwarves will claim a craftdwarf workshop when their highest skill is related to crafts or have NO moodable skill, at all. While his highest skill isn't moodable, he probably have others that are. For example, a high master fish dissector (sighs) that is also a novice bowyer will have a mood related to bow making (and most likely will create a freaking blowgun).

You were right, he wanted a blacksmith's shop. He made an iron floodgate that menaces with spikes of pig tail cloth.
