world gen and game hack question.

is there a way to make 40d19 gen a world exactly like 31?  i love the mineral diversity in 31 but i am waiting for the first round of bug fixes before i start playing it.  :)

If by 'world like 31', you mean the caverns, then no, there isn't. You can up mineral diversity in 40d by playing around with the raws, though. Couldn't tell you exactly how, per se, but it's possible. The old modding pages on the wiki should be able to tell you how to go about it.
