Want to make a megaproject? This might help

So I know there are a lot of tools for viewing your projects after the fact or during construction but I've always had trouble actually planning for and getting set for my projects.  So I took some trouble and tried to plot out my game in excel.

I thought I'd share it with everyone, figure it could possibly be useful.

This is a 4x4 map (192x192), and the larger blocks are 16x16 (of which there are 12 rows/colums)

that's pretty awesome for setting up a floor plan... not much help with the vertical aspect, though

You could probably combine your MASSIVE SPREADSHEET with:

To automatically DESIGNATE your whole fort as well. Not sure how much faster it'd be to put everything down in a spreadsheet though. Guess you have the luxury of copy and pasting, and using templates multiple times for multiple levels/rooms.
I haven't used it yet myself.

I like to use Lego!
It reminds me of my childhood, making Lego bricks by hand in a Chinese sweat shop.  ;)

Ah the good old days, we used to get paid 2 cents for every thousand bricks.

Wow, just enough to buy fare on a 5'x5' bus with 20 other people.  Lucky!  More than I ever made making Building Bricks.
