[SUGGESTION] Making "Bedding" in Clothier's Shop for beds

The fact that dwarves sleep on hard wood is perhaps a reflection on their stoutness, but doesn't make much sense. It would be nice to add "bedding" (meaning, sheets, pillow and blankets) Here's my idea:

  • Beds will work fine without bedding, and will not generate an unhappy thought. However, the *happy* thought about sleeping in a soft bed will not be generated. The idea is that in the start, when your clothing industry isn't up, you should be able to have good beds still, but in later game, you can make them better.
  • The clothier's shop gets a new reaction: It takes 1 cloth and 1 bed and turns it into 1 "bedded" bed. The symbol of the bed isn't change and neither is the color (unless people think it's a good idea to change it from brown to whatever color the cloth had)
  • The thought of sleeping in good rooms is modified. Instead of saying "He slept in a very good bedroom recently" it would say "He slept in a very good bedroom with a fairly comfortable bed lately." or "He slept in a decent bedroom with a very comfortable bed lately." The first is solely based on the room value (which, if the bedding is very good, *also* adds to the value) - the second is based only on the quality of the bedding. In other words, the better the bedding, the better both the room value and the comfortability of the bed.

I suggest you vote for this in Eternal Suggestions, unless something better catches you eye, while you're there.

Don't let a precursor with the same idea stop you from letting your voice be heard. Just make sure you're talking in the place that will do the most good.
