'Liquid barrel'. WTF?

So. The humans arrived. Among their goods was a barrel of 'liquid'. Curious, I bought it. It's not been hauled. What the hell is it? Is this a bug?

Elves do it in trees. Humans do it in wooden structures. Dwarves? Dwarves do it underground. With magma.

If you have downloaded any mods or something, It might be a duplicate entry. It causes very strange things, and 'meat' that crashes the game. If not, it's possibly just a bug.

I have downloaded no mods, or anything of the sort. It's STILL in the depot. I can only presume it's a bug.

Also, are forgotten beasts supposed to be frequent?

This sort of reminds me how I ended up with Custom Workshop #1 instead of whatever I had chosen to make.  The workshop had no tasks I could assign.

And strangely occasionally I come across goblin loot, like cave swallow leather, marked for Melt that I cannot unmark, forbid, or dump.
