Problem with game resolution
« on: May 01, 2010, 06:12:08 pm »

Just to say from the start, I'm using a netbook. I know, it's not the best idea, but it's all I've got right now.
I'm using the mayday pack for DF2010.
Whenever I start the game, after the opening intro things, this is what I get.

Any idea how to fix this?

Hmm.
Make sure you've set the relevant init options:

[GRAPHICS:YES]
[GRAPHICS_WINDOWEDX:(desired windowed x-axis resolution)]
[GRAPHICS_WINDOWEDY:(desired windowed y-axis resolution)]
[GRAPHICS_FONT:(desired font .bmp)]
[GRAPHICS_FULLSCREENX:(desired fullscreen x-axis resolution)]
[GRAPHICS_FULLSCREENY:(desired fullscreen y-axis resolution)]
[GRAPHICS_FULLFONT:(desired font .bmp)]
[GRAPHICS_BLACK_SPACE:YES]

[GRID:((desired windowed x-axis resolution)/(gridsize)):((desired windowed y-axis resolution)/(gridsize))]*
[FULLGRID:((desired fullscreen x-axis resolution)/(gridsize)):((desired fullscreen y-axis resolution)/(gridsize))]

*Gridsize for the Mayday graphics should be 16*16, IIRC.

Hope that helps!
