On the subject of pump stacks...
« on: May 01, 2010, 07:03:50 pm »

So, I've been planning a pump stack for some time and thought, “Dwarven SCIENCE dictates that a pump not only generates pressure, but also allows it to act as a wall. Therefore, one pump could deliver liquid several levels.”

Is this theory valid (Keyword:THEORY. if it isn't tested I will)

If you hit a dwarf with moving water with sufficient strength it will knock the baby out of the mother's arms.  The water can then be used to sweep the baby into a well or cistern for drowning.  The device which does this can also double as a mist generator.

No, one pump can only raise water one Z-level.

You never know when you might need a berserk dwarf to set loose somewhere.
