Prepackaged DF
« on: May 22, 2010, 02:45:47 pm »

I am looking for prepackaged Dwarf Fortress.. packages with tilesets for Macintosh. 28.40d or 31.04, don't care, both is frankly best, but if anyone knows where I can get one, preferably with a set like Mayday, especially in dimensions, I would appreciate it.

Why don't you just use the mayday set? Or doesn't it work on the mac?

Tried setting it up and I failed, but I'm not much good with such things when sleep deprived. Will try again later today, in the meantime, if anyone is successful, post :D

Macintosh user wants a tileset? You sicken me, sir! You bring the righteous name of Macintosh to the mud with your desire for these... these... "tilesets".

No, but seriously, I didn't know that tilesets wouldn't work on Mac versions. If they don't there may be a quick fix.

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

It's possible that you were using 31.04, in which tilesets don't work.
