Okay, this is not tested, but I think it should work:

[SET_BP_GROUP:BY_CATEGORY:WING]
[BP_APPEARANCE_MODIFIER:LENGTH:0:0:0:0:0:0:0]
[APP_MOD_NOUN:wings:PLURAL]
[APP_MOD_RATE:400:DAILY:0:400:1:0:1:1]
This code selects the wings, sets their length to 0 (which should hide them in descriptions), and makes them grow by 400 size units each day starting one year after birth, and ending another day after that, for hopefully instant wing growth. The 400 is the maximum size.
