Try finding Fun five z-levels above the top of the Magma Sea.

Make sure you do this when you've never even touched adamantine before. Ever.

Speaking of Fun, is the old clown car still there somewhere? I heard there are two types of HFS, but did anyone hit the ol' clown car, or is it <redacted> and nothing more?

The old clown car was upgraded to a limo, and it's got a two-inch thick coat of paint on top.

Hell is now freakin' huge, spanning the entire map IIRC, and it's got an apparently-infinite number of demons. However, once per region tile you'll find a 'demonic fortress' above hell, chock-full of a (finite!) horde of undead. At the bottom of this fortress, you can gain access to Hell itself.
