Dorfs ignoring corpses seems weird.
« on: April 20, 2010, 07:02:27 pm »

So, I order my hunting dwarf to wrestle a ground hog to death. After a day or so, he strangles it to death. I try to get it to the butchery before it rots, but the dwarves won't touch it. I even tried marking for dumping. Nothing.
P.S. Dwarves pick up refuse from outside is enabled

Try setting o-F to claim other death items.  I had to do that to get them to drag in the three mountain goat skeletons that had been littering the hillside for several years.

There is only one cat, and all cats are that cat.
Almost losing is sometimes fun.

I'll try that.

Do you have the "butcher a dead animal" task assigned at the butcher's shop?
