Missing Creature Definition: HUMAN

What the heck does this mean? When i load my save in the newest version (even a clean install) i get this. Is the save dead or is there something i can do?
EDIT: Ok, now its doing it the whole time, on pretty much anything i try to load.

What version is the save from? 0.28.181.40d (aka DF 40d) saves aren't compatible with 0.31.0X (aka DF 2010).

I'm sorry, but 40d saves don't work with d2010, your going to have to start a new fortress.
