On a trip to prague with about twenty other people, the volcano went off. Instead of simply flying from prague to london, we ended up doubling the length of our trip and taking a coach through the czech republic, germany, the netherlands, belgium and france to calais, then taking a ferry and another coach to london.

Of course, we were lucky in that we were able to get home despite the volcano - there are stories of people who may be delayed until may.

Is there anyone else who has been affected by this volcano?

My friend is supposed to be flying through Europe over the next couple days and I'm not sure what's up with him

I'm flying in the other direction a week from today and no clue if it's gonna happen on time or not

A bunch of people from my college are trying to fly back to the US from Europe and no clue etc.

Hey, look at it this way...you got to see a lot more scenery.

Although personally, it I was stuck in Prague, I'd just drink beer and eat goulash till the volcano blows over. Could be months? Oh darn.

A friend of mine had his vacation extended by the volcano (can't fly back to Netherlands). He's praying for another eruption
