(nearly) vanilla goblin camp : no trade ...

Hey guys,

I'm currently trying to make a little goblin camp (not much different from vanilla, as for now), but i'm getting a "NO TRADE" at every world generation (4 so far) ...
How to avoid it ?


Also, i'd like to have kobolds in my world ....
I'm using the "Large Region" preset, getting the number of caves to 300 and 600, and the ending age at 9, but I don't thave any of them ...
How to get em populating my world ?

More caves will boost the number of Bolds.

so i made it to 300 and 600 instead of 50 and 100 ... not enough ? o_O

Hmm, my large island vanilla maps don't have kobolds either, but the medium modded worlds do have them. Maybe there is a bug that prevents kobolds from being places in large regions?

As for the no trade, where are you getting that? Only the embark pages for other civs, or for goblins as well?

goblins are the only babysnatchers, so i'm at war with others,
the no trade is for the goblin civ itself ...
And there were some goblins left (the leader of my civ was alive, in the last world...).

Hm, I don't expect it to work, but have you tried removing the babysnatcher tag from the raws of that save?

Regarding the kobolds, after some testing, it seems that  it's simply bad luck after all. This set of seeds for large region did give me kobolds in vanilla:

Tried gening some Medium region (with more caves and only 19 year) ... I got only gobs, other  civs getting decimated (mostly by cave monsters), and "no trade" ... -_-

Trying back on Large, but the above seed is being rejected ...
About htat, is there a way to tell the game not to reject the seed, when putting it ?
