Allow change of civ names in world gen
« on: April 12, 2010, 02:07:19 am »

For those of us petty enough to be annoyed by having bodices, oars, boats, paddles, syrups etc used to name our dwarven civs please consider the option to reroll the RNG or select our own names in a similar way to fortress naming. I know it's just a collection of labels that aren't used or seen much but it would personally enrich my play experience and possibly a few others.

Code: [Select]
[ENTITY:MOUNTAIN]
...
[SELECT_SYMBOL:REMAINING:ARTIFICE]
[SELECT_SYMBOL:REMAINING:EARTH]

I believe this controls how the civs get named.  ARTIFICE and EARTH are word sets in language_SYM.txt.  You can modify them however you want.  All of the words you mentioned are under SYMBOL:ARTIFICE.
