Dwarves now use throwing for things other than tantrums

My fortress just got an ambush, and my poor Hunter was caught by the green skinned devils. He shot what was left of his bone bolts, and then started throwing stones at the goblin! Unfortunately, he died.

Was he throwing stones at the goblin while he was being stabbed? Awesome I guess, but it seems to me that wresting may have been more effective then...

He didn't get the memo about throwing being nerfed and was hoping to decapitate the goblin and the 10 behind him with a single stone like the previous versions.

You are right! It was stone traps. But the report was under the name of the Hunter, and he died very far away of the stone traps, that are under my entrance.

How disapointing.

Yea but a dedicated mechanic can build infinite stone traps and all it costs is rocks and more rocks.  Maybe mechanisms have an effect on trap damage now?
