It would be a building built like a well, only it would depend entirely on rainwater for those waterless rain-heavy maps (like savanna) Or salt water maps, for that matter.  We could dig collection channels to direct the water to the cistern.  It would have a pretty limited amount of water, but it (hopefully) would be enough to treat the injured.

This would be less of an issue once the issue of lakes drying up in the second season (despite never using them) is cleared up.

Nifty idea. First, though, "we'd" have to get water to collect in channels and flow properly; in the meantime, a building that just creates barrels of water during rain could work. I had another idea as far as collecting water goes on another thread here.

How about qanats?  Same sort of idea, different implementation.  Though this seems like the kind of thing many people do already.
