Stakudomer, tell your brother that I share his opinion of this fort.

You know, I was originally just going to use this location to test if reveal.exe was working and take a peek at the underworld (I've got a rather interesting/destructive project in mind), but with all this terror building up around it I'm actually considering setting up a real fort there.

And Stakudomer, give my regards to your bro.  And hey, with any luck, this may show him the error of his non-DF-playing ways...

By the way, "Witchblow" was highlighted because it sounded creepy/funny enough to underline, and "Siltstone" was picked because, well...   Because there's nothing innately frightening about siltstone.  It was just planted there to confuse everyone.

...that, or I'm hiding something.

maybe the FB will be a triangle morphed into humanoid form.

If you hit a dwarf with moving water with sufficient strength it will knock the baby out of the mother's arms.  The water can then be used to sweep the baby into a well or cistern for drowning.  The device which does this can also double as a mist generator.

that could actually happen...

melancholy dwarves will hang around abandoned forts if you abandon them before the dwarf manages to kill itself.

Your fort won't be complete until your Sheriff is named Pyramid head, and walks around with a helmet, 2-handed sword and no shirt.

Someone in the last version had a berserk dwarf that did that.

the Zerker hid in a room above a workshop until a dwarf tried to use said workshop, then promptly ran down and murdered said dwarves with his pick

Yes, It can be scary playing a game that not only has a sense of humor, but a slightly disturbed one at that.

The worst thing is that if we try to go back in time to destroy Toady before he ever made DF, then the DF of the future will send a dwarf back in time to program DF.

It's a pitty that possession and proper undead ressurrection has not been implemented yet.
Just imagine the abandoned fort with undead dwarves creeping around, and the obligatory megabeast pyramidhead

I demand a Fort log (Or maybe even a community fort) about a fortress on this site. It would be epic. Bonus points if you mod in Pyramid Head and other Silent Hill things.
