Some are pretty hardcore, others are just oversized cthulhu mythos things. On the first time I breached the underground caverns, I was met with hostility by a tribe of about 11 cave swallow men and a cave croc. My military killed most of them, and the last 4 got eaten by a forgotten beast which showed up close to them, a giant humanoid thing made of some green rock.
