That should be 300 Dwarves (half with iron swords, half with iron spears, all with iron shields, professional in appropriate skills) vs 1144 Dwarves (mixed copper weaponry, leather shirts, no skills).

i pitted a dwarf against a whole room of elephants in full iron and he's still not dead!

Oh wow this topic got some replies.

Even the simple things still make me happy. I pitted 4 totally unskilled itemless dorfs against each other, and they fought in pairs. One dorf beats the shit out of a another dorf's arm and leaves him to die; meanwhile, the other two dorfs kill each other. I spawn another dorf to fight the surviving one, Dwarf 2. Dwarf 2 kinda skirts around the new dorf before he charges him, knocks him to the ground and strangles him to death.
