Make Unknown Material Craft

What the carp does that mean? My crafts shop won't make anything else, besides unknown material items! Help?

Yeah got this too just back up the menu, at least this worked at my forge. Not sure what makes this happen, moods maybe?  ???

Yeah, backed up, and started my industry back up again.
I think it's cause by moods, yeah. I just had some dwarf go starkraving asking for shells...

Nah, not mood. My new fortress had no moody dwarfs yet and I got this on my crafts workshop. Prob'ly happens if you assign work orders on the submenus (e.g. (a)dd new task>(g)rocks>(z)toy) using hotkeys or selecting manually using cursors, not sure which or if I'm on the wrong track altogether.
