Hehe...Olon...Sure, I'll take him.

Oh great, I have a crazy legendary bad-ass machinist within the party now. ^_^

13 Obsidian, 37, Late Winter

Olon has become somewhat wierd lately, he's obsessing over mechanics and their workings and is also insisting that from now on I should call him 'Capitan Coder'. He still helps out with the mining down below but I often find him tinkering with the mechanisms that we have laying around. Although he isn't as talkative as he used to be, his new hobby could be helpful with the pump towers we will have to make after the mold is done.

There hasn't been much else that has been interesting lately, we dug down to the lowest point we could and are now making the framework for the mold in the depths. "Coder's", hobby will come in handy when it is time to collapse the flooring in the future.

Cool. Can't wait to see what else you'll be using mechanisms for.

Heheh, well well this is embarrassing.

Shut down my comp incorrectly the other day which corrupted by boot files. Basically the comp couldn't boot up anymore and would just perpetually try to boot windows and restart and try again. Lost everything on the comp since I had to install a fresh install of Vista. So yeah the castle will have to be restarted... I'm waiting to see if the next version of df will come out soon before I start this up again though.

...

Did it give you a bootmgr error? If so, then you didn't need a new installation.

In all cases, this is horrible.

Can't wait for the next update though.

Well not exactly sure what error it was basically would start up, go through the start up process. Say it is booting up windows, continue booting up windows, then it would just restart and try again.

Weird, never heard of that one.

Good that it was only a software problem and now your pc works :)

Yeah it's up, and I'm working my way through the new df version. A few things are tripping me up. Like channeling doesn't really channel anymore. Give me a day or two to familiarize myself.
