Bins? (DF2010)
« on: April 05, 2010, 08:55:14 am »

They don't seem to be working for me, I have a bunch of empty bins cluttering my furniture stockrooms.  :-\
Is anyone else having this problem?

I think most stockpiles are set (cvCV) to accept 0 bins by default.  Check that.

No luck.. however this bug might only be with some wood types seeing as my bins are made from some white-ish looking wood.. I would test further but with the lack of wood in my area I'll have to wait for another shipment of wood.

"white-ish" looking wood? Can you k over them and tell us what they are made out of? Maybe it's something silly like "Unknown material bin."

Actually tower-cap wood is white in the new version, so thats probably why the bins are white. If you're sure your stockpiles have set to allow the use of bins and that you haven't set bins to be reserved under the stockpiles menu and that your dwarves have had enough time to utilize the bins, you should consider posting this in the bugs section.
