[0.31.01] volcano not affected by world-gen erosion

I embarked next to an open magma vein (^ visible in embark map) and had a "tower" of magma-filled obsidian 1 to 9 z-levels high. Seems as if erosion ignored the vein.

Besides, its shape does not change in deeper z-levels, making it impossible to pierce it further down without losing a miner .
