Two bugs I've found

1: When you save the game in fortress mode and load the fortress all the Soap workshops turn into custom workshops.

2: When I choose male dwarf in the arena the game crashes.

I think the male dwarf issue must be computer specific because the first thing I did when I got dwarf fortress was pit a female dwarf against a male dwarf to see who would win. The male dwarf died with almost all appendages broken and his top right back tooth laying there on the floor, but he definitely spawned and fought without a crash.... try it again later maybe?

My soap workshop remained the same when I saved and reloaded. Anything else about yours that might cause it to change?
