SO MANY SKILLS!

I'm starting a new fort, and I was wondering what the hell the following skills were:

Student
Concentration
Observer
Teacher

What do they do? Are they awesome? Does this mean education for dwarven children?

All I know is Observer is the skill that is used against ambush.
The higher the skill, the easier it is to spot those pesky kobolds.

I can confirm that.

I've got a dwarf giving demonstrations, and he seems to be getting 'teacher' skill. The dwarf watching his demonstration, on the other hand, is gaining 'learner' skill.

What is Leader for? Military leading? Some sort of squad bonus? Or a good skill for a mayor/king?
